Key Ministry Initiatives
1. Health Awareness Programs
The department conducts health awareness initiatives focused on the well-being of children, youth, and families.
Major Focus Areas Include:
Substance Abuse Awareness
Educational programs are conducted for parents, teachers, and communities to create awareness about the dangers of substance abuse and its impact on families and society.
Combating Malnutrition
Nutrition awareness programs help parents understand balanced diets and healthy food practices for children, especially in economically challenged communities.
Stress Management for Students
Workshops and counseling sessions are conducted to support school children dealing with stress, emotional pressure, and mental health challenges.
These initiatives aim to build healthier families and stronger communities.
2. Support for Differently-Abled Children
The department provides monthly assistance to differently-abled children from ECI pastor families by supporting:
Medical care
Educational needs
Personal development and well-being
Many of these children have continued their education successfully and are progressing toward stable futures and employment opportunities.
3. World Help Project
The World Help Project supports the educational needs of children from ECI pastor families.
Through this project:
Educational assistance is provided to children
Students gather regularly for encouragement and fellowship
Sponsors receive updates and letters from the children they support
Young people are empowered to pursue higher education and ministry goals
This initiative has helped many students complete their education and become leaders serving both society and the Church.
Happy Homes & Mercy Homes
The Relief & Development Department oversees several Happy Homes and Mercy Homes across India, providing safe, nurturing environments for orphaned, semi-orphaned, and vulnerable children.
